Events

At Central Coast Aikido, we believe that training goes beyond regular classes. Our events offer students and visitors unique opportunities to deepen their Aikido practice, connect with others, and experience the art in new and enriching ways.

Throughout the year, we host and participate in a range of Aikido events both locally and nationally. These include seminars with senior instructors, intensive workshops, grading days, and social gatherings. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a long-time practitioner, there’s something for everyone.

Seminars provide the chance to train with high-ranking Aikido teachers from around Australia and beyond. These sessions focus on technical refinement, weapons training, and the deeper philosophy of Aikido.
Workshops often focus on specific aspects of Aikido, such as ukemi (falling safely), self-defence applications, or advanced techniques.
Beginner-friendly events are designed to help new students feel confident and supported as they start their journey.
Grading days are held regularly for students who are ready to progress in rank. These events are also a celebration of commitment and growth.
We also enjoy dojo gatherings and community events, creating a warm, inclusive space where members and families can connect beyond the mat.

Attending events is a great way to accelerate your learning, gain fresh insights, and strengthen your connection to the broader Aikido community. Guests and students from other dojos are always welcome.

Be sure to check this page regularly for the latest event announcements, dates, and registration details.
